Letters of Credit are now available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from anywhere in the world. Customers are able to visit the bank's website and fill in a Letter of Credit form which will then instantaneously begin to be cleared. The paper trail is no more. Time is saved by not having to visit a bank branch or mail documents. An added advantage is that once the form has been filled in, a customer can reload the page and make necessary alterations instead of having to resubmit all data with each application. This service is of particular benefit to companies which are constantly on the move and to whom time is a valuable commodity.

Habib Bank AG Zurich has also added over 30 page view to its website, including current account, savings account, call deposit account, time deposit account, commercial loan, auto loan, local bills discount, letter of credit sight, letter of credit usance, delivery order, shipping guarantee, local purchase order, master credit card and rent loan. All balances can be viewed in a number of different ways, for example currencies and many transactions can be performed online. A unique feature of HBZ Web Banking is that customers have access to historical information.
