Accessible only with the use of HBZsecure key, this
tool allows account holders to securely store sensitive data such as
credit card details, passwords, passport particulars and other
private information using strong encryption algorithms.
Mr
Reza Habib, Joint President, Habib Bank AG Zurich said, 'Secure data
storage is something that many of our clients have been asking for
and all of our account holders can benefit from. Just like a
traditional bank locker that securely holds precious documents or
jewellery, the HBZeLocker holds valuable data. As we move into a
knowledge based economy we all need somewhere where we can securely
store our valuable data'.
The purpose of HBZeLocker is to
provide an additional layer of security and enable clients to store
their private data in a secure environment and have it accessible
worldwide.
HBZeLocker is available immediately for all HBZ
account holders and is free of charge. To access HBZeLocker
customers need to obtain their free HBZsecure key which guarantees
security to a level far higher than any other bank in the United
Arab Emirates.
HBZsecure key provides an additional layer of
security on top of the 128-bit SSL (secure socket layer) connection.
Delivered on a physical media such as mini CD ROMs, SD cards (secure
stamp-sized flash memory card), USB flash drive (a portable USB hard
drive is used for storage and transportation of data and
applications) or virtually any media of the user's choice, HBZsecure
key is mandatory for some of the more sensitive web options like
HBZcms, an online third party fund transfer option or HBZeLocker
that customers can access online.
HBZweb, a unique Internet
banking service, provides over eighty options for account holders to
transact and query account information. Options include secure mail,
unlimited secondary account login management, global unified login
access, event driven mobile and PDA banking (HBZgsm/HBZpda) allowing
monitoring of accounts and alerts, bill payment, third party fund
transfers (HBZsecure key), electronic Letters of Credit (HBZeLC) and
document level drilling to name a few. Additionally, Microsoft
Excel™, text and XML downloading of statements of accounts with live
history for over eight years for all accounts, also allows clients
easy integration with their own systems.
