COMPLAINTS POLICY

Habib Bank AG Zurich aims to please its customers at all times. It has a complaints handling procedure in place to ensure that you receive a quick and fair response to any complaints you may have about its Internet Banking Service.

At first instance you should direct your complaint to the manager of the branch where you hold your bank account. If you do not consider that you have received a timely and fair response to your complaint from your branch, you should contact the Internet Service Banking Customer Service Centre at Habib House, 42 Moorgate, London EC2R 6JJ. It is Habib Bank AG Zurich's policy to acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours and to reply to you within 5 working days. In circumstances where this is not possible, Habib Bank AG Zurich will keep you informed of progress regularly.

Habib Bank AG Zurich is a member of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) which was established under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. The FSCS can pay compensation if a member is unable to repay deposits that it holds for customers. From 7 October 2008, payments made under the scheme have been limited to £50,000.00 (Fifty thousand) per customer per financial institution. For a joint account, the limit is doubled. The limit applies per customer, not per account. For non-sterling deposits, the sterling equivalent at prevailing currency exchange rates is used to calculate the amount repayable.
